Account Development Representative

Survalent Technology Corporation is the leading provider of real-time smart grid management systems for utilities. They are seeking recent graduates for the Account Development Representative role, where the main responsibilities include researching and cultivating new business connections, generating qualified leads, and participating in strategy discussions with the sales team.

Responsibilities

  • Research and cultivate new business connections via warm and cold outreach including LinkedIn, Email and Phone
  • Set introductory meetings and generate qualified leads
  • Research and prepare introductory calls/execute Survalent sales strategy
  • Attend industry-specific conferences
  • Update Salesforce with details of all communications with customers
  • Follow up on inbound leads
  • Participate in strategy discussions with sales team and other cross functional groups
  • Other duties as assigned

Skills

  • University Degree with a GPA of 3.2 or higher
  • 1-4 years of experience working in customer facing roles, preferably in sales
  • Must be passionate about sales and have an entrepreneurial spirit
  • Must be Proactive & willing to adapt and learn new skills and technologies
  • Experience in the utility space
  • Knowledge in reading financial statements
  • Ability to build cash flow models
  • Knowledge of different regulatory bodies in the utility space in North America
  • Fluent in Spanish
