Your Role We’re hiring a CPA / Tax Accountant to support US individual tax preparation (Form 1040). This is an execution-focused role. You’ll work closely with senior tax professionals and be responsible for preparing returns, organizing client documentation, and supporting filings with a high level of accuracy. This is not a strategy-heavy or advisory role — the focus is on doing the work well, consistently, and on time. Strong communication is essential. - Prepare US individual tax returns (Form 1040) under supervision
- Work with supporting documents (W-2s, 1099s, deductions, credits)
- Support tax filings and compliance processes
- Organize and review client financial documentation
- Assist senior accountants with tax preparation and deliverables
- Ensure documentation is complete, accurate, and audit-ready
- Track deadlines and support timely submissions during tax cycles
- Communicate clearly with internal teams on progress, blockers, and updates You Bring
- 2–5+ years of experience in accounting or tax roles
- Hands-on experience with US individual tax returns (Form 1040)
- CPA (completed or in progress preferred)
- Strong understanding of tax basics (income, deductions, credits)
- Good written and spoken English (critical for this role)
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to follow structured processes and meet deadlines
- Comfort working in a remote, distributed team Bonus Points

- Experience in tax season environments (high volume of returns)
- Familiarity with tools like QuickBooks, tax software, or Excel
- EA (Enrolled Agent) certification or similar
