Data Analyst
MJH Life Sciences® is a company that values determination and teamwork, seeking a Data Analyst to join their medical strategy team. The role involves working with structured data, writing queries, building pipelines, and producing insights to inform decisions.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define analytical questions and translate them into structured data requests
- Develop scripts and small applications that integrate AI/LLM APIs for data processing, summarization, or reporting tasks
- Build and automate repeatable analysis workflows
- Document code, methodologies, and data definitions so work is reproducible and maintainable
- Apply statistical techniques to interpret patterns, test hypotheses, and surface actionable findings
Skills
- Demonstrated coding experience in at least one general-purpose language (Python strongly preferred)
- Foundational knowledge of relational database concepts (schemas, indexing, data types)
- Hands-on experience using AI tools — such as Claude, ChatGPT, or similar — to accelerate development, automate tasks, or build lightweight applications
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to data quality
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience
- Proficiency with SQL and relational databases
- Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar)
- Strong skills in Excel and data manipulation
- Ability to analyze complex datasets and translate findings into actionable insights
- Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills
