  • Mandatory training schedule: Monday-Friday (8:00am-5:00pm ET or 9:00am-6:00pm ET) for six weeks

Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Representative - Phone Agent at careerzynith, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing exceptional customer support, handling inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction
  • Thoroughly and efficiently gathering customer information, assessing and fulfilling customer needs, and educating the customer where applicable to solve the customer's concern on the initial call
  • Working in a fast-paced environment, handling high-volume inquiries, and navigating multiple systems and computer screens while engaging with customers over the phone
  • Demonstrating a passion for excellence with respect to treating and caring for customers
  • Making strong decisions and analytical abilities to troubleshoot customer issues over the telephone
  • Maintaining a high level of detail orientation and communication/listening skills
  • Working independently and as part of a team to achieve customer satisfaction goals

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 2+ years of experience in a call center or help desk capacity, with financial service experience strongly preferred
  • Ability to simultaneously navigate multiple systems and computer screens while engaging a customer over the phone
  • Proficiency in customer services software and tech applications such as Microsoft Office/Teams, SABA, and Ultipro
  • Ability to handle high-volume inquiries in a fast-paced environment
  • Open-minded and adaptable with a willingness to learn new skills and change
  • Strong decision-making and analytical abilities
  • Ability to troubleshoot customer issues over the telephone
  • Strong detail orientation and communication/listening skills
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule and accept constructive feedback and turn it into actions
  • Highly developed sense of urgency and commitment to customer satisfaction
  • Bilingual English and Spanish is not required, but is highly preferred
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • High School diploma, GED, or equivalent required
