Job Summary
As a Remote Data Entry Specialist, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and completeness of data recorded in our computer systems and tracking databases. You'll work closely with our team to collect, compile, and verify data, providing basic reports and serving as a resource for other staff members. Key Responsibilities
* Read source documents and enter data in specific data fields accurately, ensuring high levels of precision and attention to detail
- Collect, compile, sort, and verify the accuracy or completeness of data before it's entered into our systems
- Perform data integrity tasks by locating and correcting data entry errors, or reporting them to supervisors
- Scan or upload documents as required
- Perform routine office/lab duties, such as answering phones and maintaining supplies
- Maintain logs of activities and completed work, filing completed documents in appropriate locations or distributing them as needed
- Provide data lists, spreadsheets, and reports to support business operations
- Create or modify databases according to the needs of our department
- Provide direction or assistance to users of information regarding data requirements and status of paperwork
- Train other data entry employees as needed
- Perform other related duties as required
Requirements
* High School diploma or GED required; Associates degree/Bachelors Degree preferred
- Two years of experience in data entry or a related field
