Java Developer (Full stack Java w. some React - Must have Healthcare Payor insurance exp)
Senior Java Developer (HRP / HealthRules Payor) Must haves 5+ years as a Java Developer with experience working in Healthcare payor insurance Experience with React (even if minimal) Experience working in AWS We’re hiring a Senior Java Developer to support a healthcare payor platform focused on billing and financial systems (non-CMS). Must have experience with HealthRules Payor (HRP) or similar healthcare payer systems. Strong preference for candidates with healthcare insurance payor background. What you’ll do
- Build and support backend services using Java (majority backend focused role)
- Contribute to front-end work as needed using React
- Work within an AWS environment (team is currently migrating)
- Develop and maintain APIs, web services, and messaging integrations (JMS)
- Participate in Agile processes – daily scrum, working with Product Owner to clarify requirements
- Collaborate as an individual contributor on a distributed team
- Ensure code quality with unit testing (JUnit) and CI/CD pipelines
- Work with backend servers like WebLogic and Tomcat
