Join our dynamic team and help shape the future of sales and marketing technology! Role Overview We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Junior Developer in Test to join our engineering team. In this role, you will learn from seasoned engineers and contribute to ensuring the quality, reliability, and scalability of our cutting-edge marketing and sales automation platform. You will write automated tests, identify software bugs, and collaborate closely with developers and product managers to champion quality from day one. Key Responsibilities

Write & Maintain Code: Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented automated test scripts for front-end (UI) and back-end (API) components using JavaScript/TypeScript, PHP, or Python. Execute Test Strategies: Execute existing automated test suites, analyze results, and help expand test coverage across the application layers. Defect Tracking: Identify, log, and track software defects, working closely with developers to ensure timely resolutions. Exploratory Testing: Perform manual and exploratory testing to uncover edge-case issues not easily caught by automation. CI/CD Integration: Learn to integrate and monitor automated tests within our CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions). Team Collaboration: Participate proactively in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, team discussions, and code reviews to understand requirements and testability. Required Qualifications & Skills Experience: 0–2 years of experience in software testing, QA automation, or software development (open to talented recent graduates or bootcamp alumni). Programming Basics: Solid foundational coding skills in at least one relevant language (e.g., JavaScript/TypeScript, PHP, Python). Automation Exposure: Basic understanding or academic/project experience with automated testing tools for UI (e.g., Cypress, Playwright) or APIs (e.g., Postman, Pytest). Core QA Knowledge: Good understanding of software QA methodologies, the software development lifecycle (SDLC), and Agile practices. Version Control: Basic proficiency with Git and version control workflows. Soft Skills: Strong analytical thinking, keen attention to detail, a passion for learning, and excellent English communication skills. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical/bootcamp experience. Preferred Qualifications & Skills (Nice to Have) Familiarity with relational databases and writing basic SQL queries. Basic understanding of containerization tools like Docker. Familiarity with Cloud environments (e.g., AWS, GCP). Exposure to performance or security testing concepts.
