On-Demand Freelance Spanish Translator/Post-Editor
Experienced post-editor for Weekends from Friday 5pm - Monday 7am (Eastern Standard Time) Type: Freelance / Remote Location: Several Time Zones Hours: Weekends from Friday 5pm - Monday 7am (Eastern Standard Time) We are looking for talented and qualified English (US) into Spanish (US) Post-Editors with experience in the medical setting. Task: Review and refine machine-translated text from English (US) into Spanish (US) by improving accuracy, quality, and fluency. Post-editors are expected to work quickly and efficiently to meet required turnaround times while ensuring the final translation reads naturally, as if originally written by a native speaker. Requirements:
- A degree in translation, linguistics or language studies or an equivalent degree that includes significant translation training, from a recognized institution of higher education; or
- a degree in any other field from a recognized institution of higher education and has the equivalent of two years of full-time professional experience in translating; or
- the equivalent of five years of full-time professional experience in translating.
Other requirements:
- Bilingual Spanish (US) and English (US).
- Localization Experience - Possess cultural knowledge of the source language and the target language.
- Post-editing Machine Translation or Localization Experience.
- Knowledge of MT and LLM technologies
- Proven Experience in the healthcare industry.
- CAT experience.
Skills:
- Advanced degree in translation or a related field.
