Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Management Consulting Group is seeking a DevOps/Automation Engineer to lead a team focused on cloud infrastructure provisioning. The role involves executing strategic direction in infrastructure, security, CI/CD, and IT operations while ensuring high availability and reliability of a cloud-based commerce platform.
Responsibilities
- Leads the team that provides strategic direction and executes on infrastructure, security, continuous integration, deployment, and IT operations practices, scaling and metrics
- Runs day-to-day operations of production and development infrastructure for a cloud based commerce platform
- Develops an innovative approach to simplify and streamline processes to increase system scalability and reliability, improve efficiency, and minimize errors
- Works with the Development and QA teams to provide continuous improvement of existing features and rollout of new services, ensuring high availability of our platform
