They are seeking an Accounting Supervisor – Revenue & Billing to oversee revenue accounting and billing operations, ensuring accurate revenue recognition and improving accounting processes to support company growth.
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor the billing team
- Oversee invoicing, collections, and billing operations
- Manage revenue recognition and deferred revenue accounting
- Perform bank reconciliations and support month-end close
- Process payroll and related accounting activities
- Ensure accounting accuracy and compliance
- Support automation and process improvement projects
- Collaborate with leadership on reporting and operational initiatives
Skills
- SaaS Accounting Experience
- Revenue Recognition Knowledge (ASC 606 preferred)
- Deferred Revenue Management
- Month-End Close Experience
- Bank Reconciliation Expertise
- Team Leadership/Supervisory Experience
- Strong Accounting Principles Knowledge
- Advanced Microsoft Excel Skills (Pivot Tables, Data Analysis)
- Strong Communication and Problem-Solving Skills
- Process Improvement and Automation Mindset
- Sage Intacct Experience
- Maxio/Chargify Experience
- Payroll Processing Experience
- Accounting Degree (Bachelor's)
- Power Query Skills
