[Remote] Director, Operations Analytics
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. The RealReal is the world’s largest online marketplace for authenticated, resale luxury goods, and they are seeking a Director of Operations Analytics. In this role, you will deliver insights using quantitative data to support operations, collaborate with various teams, and drive operational excellence through analytics and strategic recommendations.
Responsibilities
- Align with business partners to design and maintain analytics roadmap and milestones
- Understand and quantify operational efficiency metrics
- Become the knowledge center. You will manage your learning agenda to identify and gather relevant data, accumulate insights, and provide recommendations for operational excellence
- Design, implement, and report on item data throughout our receiving, authentication, launch and outbound flow
- Support operation strategy by providing relevant and high quality insights
- Partner with business owners to ensure the implementation of the strategy and track its progress
- Provide key product health measurements and reporting to support the business on a daily basis
- Communicate product insights to business partner teams and leadership
- Partner with other internal analytics teams to create a streamlined and consolidated analytics
Skills
- 8+ years years analytics experience
- 5+ years people management experience
- Expert in SQL
- 5+ years of experience with BI tools such as microstrategy, tableau, looker etc
- Expert in translating between practical problems and technical formulations and solutions
- Proven ability to design and implement time-sensitive strategic projects involving methodology development, analysis, strategic recommendations, and presentation of the findings
- Proven track record of thriving with ambiguity
- Ability to travel up to 5%
- ECommerce or logistics industry experience preferred
