[Remote] Instructional Designer

HireTalent is a staffing and recruiting firm seeking an experienced Instructional Designer to create engaging and effective learning solutions. This role involves analyzing content, designing training programs, and developing e-learning and virtual instructor-led materials using industry-standard tools and methodologies.
Responsibilities
- Apply the ADDIE instructional design model to develop training solutions
- Analyze source content to determine learning needs and objectives
- Design and develop e-learning courses and virtual instructor-led training materials
- Create storyboards, job aids, and supporting learning content
- Follow established templates, guidelines, and standards for course development
- Collaborate with team members using communication and project tools
- Adhere to project timelines and report progress regularly
- Escalate risks or issues as needed to ensure project success
- Work independently with minimal supervision while following direction as required
Skills
- 5+ years of experience in instructional design, training, or learning development
- Strong experience with instructional design methodologies (e.g., ADDIE)
- Proficiency in: Articulate 360 (Storyline and Rise)
- Proficiency in: Microsoft Word and PowerPoint
- Proficiency in: Camtasia
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Bachelor's degree in Learning & Performance, Education, Human Resources, Organizational Design, or a related field
- Experience working in a consumer-focused organization
- Experience in healthcare and/or insurance industries
