[Remote] Lead Platform Engineer, API & AI Services

Nasscomm is seeking a Lead Platform Engineer with expertise in building secure and scalable API platforms and AI-powered enterprise services. The role involves leading engineering teams, making architectural decisions, and ensuring platform reliability while collaborating with various teams to design and deliver AI-driven applications.
Responsibilities
- Execution-driven Lead Platform Engineer with expertise in building and operating secure, scalable API platforms and AI-powered enterprise services
- Experienced in owning multi-tenant API gateways that serve as the security and routing layer between enterprise customers and downstream AI services
- Proven ability to lead engineering teams, drive architectural decisions, and ensure platform reliability through observability, fault isolation, rate limiting, circuit breaking, and automated deployments
- Hands-on experience managing AWS ECS Fargate, Redis, RDS, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or CDK
- Skilled in implementing secure authentication frameworks, tenant-aware authorization models, and enterprise-grade API management solutions
- Experienced collaborating with AI, product, and platform teams to design and deliver LLM-powered applications, including contract analysis, document review, RAG architectures, and agentic workflows
- Adept at defining scalable integration patterns, asynchronous processing, structured outputs, and webhook-based delivery mechanisms
- Passionate about building reliable, secure, and extensible AI platforms while enabling enterprise customers to access capabilities through APIs, MCP servers, callable tools, and emerging AI agent ecosystems
