They are seeking a Market Development and Outreach Specialist for Medicaid, responsible for community outreach, developing marketplace opportunities, and driving membership growth in the Medicaid program.
Responsibilities
- Creates marketplace opportunities to showcase Sentara Family Care's programs and services for Medicaid beneficiaries, advocates, and community leaders
- Initiates and develops community activities that drive membership growth or retention
- Initiates grass-roots stakeholder development in support of SFC goals
- Provides on-site management of events
- Demonstrates proficiency in understanding, analyzing, and articulating complex issues in the Medicaid program or in the community, including emerging health care issues
Skills
- BLD - Bachelor's Level Degree REQUIRED
- CRM Database- Previous Experience, eg. Salesforce REQUIRED
- Customer Service- 3 years REQUIRED
- Public Relations - 3 years REQUIRED
- Outreach and Advocacy- 3 years REQUIRED
