[Remote] Microsoft Platform Engineer
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Programmers.io is currently looking for a Microsoft Platform Engineer. This role involves operationalizing Microsoft 365, focusing on securing and managing devices via Intune and building Power Platform solutions to enhance efficiency in Sales Ops, Supply Chain, and Finance.
Responsibilities
- Operationalizes Microsoft 365 across two lanes: securing and managing devices at scale via Intune, and building and governing Power Platform solutions
- Device enrollment, compliance policy design, and conditional access configuration across Windows, iOS, and Android
- Autopilot deployment for zero-touch provisioning
- App protection policies and MAM/MDM strategy
- Intune reporting and remediation scripting (PowerShell)
- Integration with Azure AD / Entra ID
- Power Apps: Canvas and model-driven app development; production apps with real users, not demos
- Power Automate: Multi-step cloud flows, approval workflows, error handling, and SharePoint/Dataverse/M365 connectors
- Power BI: Report and dashboard development; DAX proficiency; gateway configuration for on-prem data sources
- Dataverse: Schema design, table relationships, security roles, and solution management
- Power Pages: External-facing portal configuration and customization
- Power Platform Administration: Environment strategy, DLP policies, capacity management, ALM (solution deployment pipelines), and CoE Starter Kit familiarity
