[Remote] Senior Accountant

Inico Recruitment is working with a Real Estate Technology Platform based in New York, seeking a Big 4 CPA Qualified Accountant to join their finance team. This role involves managing US GAAP and SEC reporting requirements and serving as a technical expert on accounting matters, with opportunities for career progression in various finance functions.
Responsibilities
- Manage US GAAP and SEC reporting requirements - 10-K, 10-Q, and 8-K filings
- Serve as the go-to technical expert across the business on ASC 606 (Revenue Recognition), ASC 842 (Leases), and ASC 718 (Stock-Based Compensation)
- Business partner Legal and Operations on accounting matters
- Train and mentor junior accounting staff on technical topics and best practices
Skills
- Big 4 audit background - essential
- CPA qualified
- Strong US GAAP knowledge
- First move into industry
- IFRS exposure and multi-entity global consolidation experience
