The role involves building and optimizing systems for trade capture, position management, and real-time trading workflows, while ensuring high reliability and low latency.
Responsibilities
- Build and optimise the systems that power trade capture, position management, and real-time trading workflows
- Design distributed platforms capable of processing millions of events with high reliability and low latency
- Work closely with traders, execution teams, and engineers to deliver critical trading infrastructure
- Own major technical initiatives from design through production
Skills
- 7+ years of software engineering experience
- Deep expertise building high-performance Java systems
- Strong understanding of JVM internals, GC optimisation, and low-latency design
- Experience with concurrent programming, lock-free algorithms, and distributed systems
