[Remote] Senior React \/ Python \/ AWS Engineer – AI & Generative AI Solutions
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Workiy Inc. is seeking an experienced React / Python / AWS Engineer with strong AI expertise to design, develop, and deploy scalable cloud-native applications and intelligent solutions. The role involves building end-to-end applications, integrating AI capabilities, and leveraging AWS services while collaborating closely with product managers and stakeholders to deliver innovative technical solutions.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy scalable cloud-native applications and intelligent solutions
- Build end-to-end applications, integrating AI capabilities and developing APIs and microservices
- Leverage AWS services to deliver high-performance, secure, and scalable solutions
- Work closely with product managers, architects, data engineers, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into innovative technical solutions
- Drive best practices in software development, cloud architecture, and AI adoption
- Take ownership of technical decisions and deliver impactful products that enhance business outcomes through modern engineering and AI-driven innovation
Skills
- Strong experience with React.js, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3
- Proficiency in Python development for backend services and API development
- Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs and GraphQL services
- Hands-on experience with AWS Cloud Services (Lambda, S3, API Gateway, ECS/EKS, Glue, Redshift, CloudWatch)
- Experience with Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), and AI-powered applications
- Experience integrating OpenAI, Anthropic, Azure OpenAI, or similar AI platforms
- Knowledge of AI Agents, Prompt Engineering, Tool Calling, and Agentic Workflows
- Experience with Databricks, PySpark, Delta Lake, and Data Engineering concepts
- Strong understanding of Microservices Architecture and Event-Driven Systems
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines
- Proficiency with Git, GitHub/GitLab, and Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Experience designing, developing, and deploying cloud-native applications
- Strong problem-solving, debugging, and performance optimization skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced remote environment with minimal supervision
