[Remote] Staff Software Engineer – Data Platform
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. IntelliPro is a U.S.-based B2B payments company processing over $200 billion in financial transactions annually. They are seeking a Staff Software Engineer for their Data Platform to build internal data platform components and set technical standards for the data engineering organization.
Responsibilities
- Design and build scalable data platform components (ingestion frameworks, data quality systems, orchestration tooling, internal APIs)
- Define architecture and set technical standards for the data engineering org
- Partner with data engineering teams to understand pain points and translate them into reusable platform solutions
- Own the end-to-end delivery of platform features, from design to production
Skills
- Title background: Staff / Senior / Principal Software Engineer (SWE track, not DE track)
- Experience: 10–15 years
- Technical must-haves: Spark, Kafka, or Databricks + Java or Python
- Keywords that fit: platform engineering, distributed systems, internal tooling, data quality frameworks, event-driven architecture, microservices, CI/CD
- Work authorization: Must be authorized to work in the U.S. — no visa sponsorship
