[Remote] Travel MEP Project Manager

Scott Humphrey Corporation is seeking an experienced Traveling MEP Project Manager to oversee the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing scopes of large-scale projects across the United States. This role involves managing project schedules, budgets, subcontractors, and overall MEP coordination from preconstruction through project closeout.
Responsibilities
- Manage all MEP aspects of construction projects from start to finish
- Coordinate Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Fire Protection subcontractors
- Monitor project schedules, budgets, and overall performance
- Lead MEP coordination meetings with owners, architects, engineers, and trade partners
- Review drawings, specifications, RFIs, and submittals
- Identify and resolve design and field coordination issues
- Ensure work is completed safely, on schedule, and in compliance with project requirements
- Support commissioning, startup, testing, and turnover activities
- Track project costs, change orders, and procurement schedules
- Provide regular project updates to leadership and clients
Skills
- 5+ years of experience as an MEP Project Manager, Project Manager, or similar role
- Experience managing MEP scopes on commercial, industrial, mission critical, healthcare, manufacturing, or data center projects
- Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems
- Experience with budgeting, scheduling, and subcontractor management
- Ability to read and interpret construction documents
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Willingness to travel nationwide
- Data Center or Mission Critical project experience
- Experience with commissioning and turnover processes
