The ideal candidate has solid expertise in US GAAP accounting practices, advanced knowledge of Excel and at least 3 years of experience in a similar role in international corporations. Responsibilities: Perform general accounting activities, including month-end close procedures and posting journal entries; Review and reconcile balance sheet accounts to ensure completeness and accuracy; Prepare and analyze P&L variance reports, highlighting key drivers and discrepancies; Support audits, internal controls and compliance initiatives by preparing schedules and compiling supporting documentation for auditors. QualificationsExperience working with companies reporting under U.S. GAAP; Knowledge of NetSuite/ other similar accounting systems; Extensive Excel knowledge; Experience/ background in corporations; 3+ years of experience in a similar role; Proficient in English (knowledge of multiple languages is a plus); Strong understanding of internal controls processes including documentation, testing, monitoring and reporting; Combination of public accounting and industry experience preferred; High attention to detail with the ability to perform thorough account reconciliations and analysis. Schedule: 8 hours + 1 hour lunch break anytime between 14:00-01:00 Romania time
