Shopify Developer (Theme Customization + Landing Pages) — Fast MVP Build
Description: We’re a performance marketing agency working with a client in the home/backyard space, and we need a strong Shopify developer to help us move quickly on a website project. This is NOT a full rebuild and NOT a complex backend project. We are migrating marketing pages from WordPress into Shopify. The product catalog, collections, and checkout are already in Shopify and will remain unchanged. Your role is to recreate and slightly improve a small set of marketing pages inside Shopify using an existing theme. Scope of Work We’re building an MVP (minimum viable version) of the site. Pages include: Homepage Category pages (Hot Tubs, Swim Spas, Saunas, Game Room) Financing page Contact / Consultation page Promotions / Landing page (for campaigns) Key responsibilities: Build pages using Shopify theme (no custom apps needed) Customize layout and sections for better UX Ensure mobile responsiveness Connect pages to existing Shopify collections/products Implement clean, conversion-focused layouts What We’re Looking For Strong experience with Shopify themes (Liquid, sections, templates) Experience building landing pages or marketing pages Good eye for layout, spacing, and mobile UX Ability to move quickly and communicate clearly Not a Fit If You: Focus primarily on Shopify app development Are a “Shopify Plus architect” or backend-heavy developer Prefer large, complex builds over fast execution Project Details Estimated: 40–60 hours total Timeline: ~2–3 weeks We will start with a paid test task (build 1 page) before committing To Apply Please include: 2–3 examples of Shopify sites or pages you’ve built (especially landing pages) A short note on your experience with theme customization Your hourly rate and availability over the next 2–3 weeks Bonus if you’ve worked on: Home / lifestyle brands Lead generation-focused sites Additional Context We move quickly and value clean execution over perfection.
