Shopify E-Commerce Architect
Owning the technical architecture and platform design for the Shopify Plus ecosystem, the full-time remote Shopify E-Commerce Architect will define integration strategies, establish performance and security standards, and lead the evolution of composable commerce to enhance the bridal shopping experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end Shopify Plus architecture, including themes, apps, and integrations with enterprise systems
- Design scalable and secure integrations between Shopify and various enterprise platforms, ensuring optimal data flows
- Define performance, security, and accessibility standards while providing technical oversight to development teams
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in designing and supporting large-scale eCommerce platforms
- 5+ years of experience architecting solutions on Shopify or Shopify Plus
- Hands-on expertise with Shopify Storefront API, Admin API, and GraphQL
- Proven experience with composable or headless commerce using frameworks like Hydrogen or Next.js
- Strong knowledge of performance optimization and security best practices for eCommerce
