Job Description

We are hiring Transcription Specialists to convert audio recordings into accurate written transcripts. Content may include confidential business meetings, legal proceedings, and medical consultations. A background check is required for all transcription positions.

  • Responsibilities
  • Listen to audio recordings and produce accurate written transcripts
  • Follow industry-specific formatting guidelines for legal, medical, or business content
  • Review completed transcripts for accuracy before submission
  • Handle all audio content with strict confidentiality
  • Meet daily transcription volume and accuracy targets
  • Flag unclear audio sections and request clarification from supervisors
  • Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Fast and accurate typing — minimum 55 WPM strongly preferred
  • Strong listening skills and attention to spelling and grammar
  • Must pass a pre-employment background check
  • No prior transcription experience required — training provided
  • Must be a US resident with reliable internet and quiet home workspace
