UNISYS COBOL Developers / Mainframe Engineers – Federal Contract (Remote)

We're staffing up for an upcoming federal IRS engagement supporting the Audit Information Management System (AIMS) a mission-critical legacy mainframe application within the IRS Compliance domain. What You'll Do:
- Develop, maintain, and modernize COBOL-85 applications on UNISYS Eldorado mainframe
- Write and execute Executive Control Language (ECL) scripts using CMplus configuration management
- Author Functional Specification Plans (FSPs), conduct code reviews, and execute Unit/ISAT testing
- Support O&M, batch processing, and production incident resolution
- Participate in structured knowledge transfer and assisted development with IRS FTEs
What We're Looking For:
- MUST have Hands-on experience with UNISYS COBOL-85, ECL, IPF, and CMplus
- Familiarity with IRS systems (IDRS, DocIT, IRWorks) strongly preferred
- Prior federal contract experience, especially IRS or Treasury
- Ability to obtain an IRS Minimum Background Investigation (MBI) clearance
- U.S. Citizen or Lawful Permanent Resident required
