US Bookkeeper
is a U.S.-based bookkeeping and accounting firm serving restaurants, trades, manufacturers, hospitality groups, and small businesses across the country. As we grow, we’re adding a Philippines-based US Bookkeeper to the team. Role Description This is a full-time, fully remote role within U.S. business hours — and a real opportunity to grow with a firm that values clean books and clear communication.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of US bookkeeping and accounting experience, including transaction coding, reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance.
- Proficiency with cloud-based accounting software (such as QuickBooks Online, Sage, or similar) and basic spreadsheet tools.
- Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and basic cash flow tracking for US-based businesses.
- Solid understanding of US GAAP basics, financial statements, and standard bookkeeping best practices.
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple client accounts and deadlines.
- Clear, professional written and verbal communication skills and comfort interacting directly with clients.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment, exercise sound judgment, and maintain confidentiality of financial data.
- Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience; relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Bookkeeper, QuickBooks certification) are a plus.
- Bonus: experience with Toast, ADP, Jobber and other software related.
